Games and the Treatment Convexity of Cancer
The Mathematical Oncology Blog
Jeffrey West: “Recently, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Péter Bayer on a paper that eventually found its way into a special issue on Evolutionary Games and Applications. The paper represents a fun merging of two fields: 1) evolutionary game theory and 2) treatment convexity. Rather than write a simple summary of the paper, I thought it would be more exciting to write some of the history of the project as well as a forward-thinking view of what's next.“How Darwinism is changing medicine
BBC Future
Sofia Quaglia: “The relatively new discipline of evolutionary medicine is making strides in the fields of cancer treatment and antibacterial resistance.“
The newsletter now has a dedicated homepage where we post the cover artwork for each issue. We encourage submissions that coincide with the release of a recent paper from your group. This week’s artwork:

Caption: Registration page for the 11th Integrated Mathematical Oncology workshop at the Moffitt Cancer Center is now open: imo11.eventbrite.com. The IMO workshop is designed to motivate and facilitate a hands-on modeling experience focused on Steering cancer evolution through therapeutic intervention. We are offering deluxe travel awards for external participation - so apply asap!
Visit the mathematical oncology page to view jobs, meetings, and special issues. We will post new additions here, but the full list can found at mathematical-oncology.org.
